Renovating Historic Structures

NeighborWorks Umpqua helps communities restore and renovate historic structures as part of neighborhood and downtown revitalization efforts.

Our projects include the Grand Hotel in Roseburg, Washington School in Oakland, and several historic homes in Douglas County Oregon.

In 2009 we completed restoration on the Hotel North Bend, in North Bend which provides 33 units of low-moderate income housing and 2 commercial spaces. The Hotel North Bend was originally designed by architect John E. Tourtellotte and constructed in 1921.
