Join our Community Leadership Institute Cohort!

NeighborWorks® Umpqua is proud to announce the commencement of recruitment for the organization’s second Community Leadership Institute (CLI). Starting March 2nd, NeighborWorks® Umpqua will be working with local Roseburg residents the first Saturday of each month from 1 pm to 3 pm through June 2019 to provide a unique, rigorous training designed to draw out and sharpen a participant’s leadership skills in the hopes of educating and promoting a more engaged citizen. NeighborWorks® Umpqua is looking for interested residents within the Roseburg area to join the ranks of the CLI cohort. We are looking for applicants who are looking for ways to become better leaders for their communities but have yet to take that first step in their development. Applicants can expect a rigorous, educational course that will enrich both the individual and their immediate community.

Why host a CLI?

Part of NeighborWorks® Umpqua’s mission is the dedication to providing important community development services to the residents of Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties. The CLI is an important part of delivering on this promise. The CLI’s design is rooted in a number of popular, accredited pieces of training.

How do I apply?

All interested participants will need to apply before February 28th. All qualified applicants will be contacted with more information about the coursework and expectations. For more information about the curriculum, call Michelle Martin, at 541-414-6368 or email mmartin@nwumpqua.org.

Is there any way I could help?

We are looking for volunteers to staff our childcare services during this time. Whether you can commit to an hour or the entire length of the program, we would greatly appreciate your help! Click here to email our Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
