NeighborWorks Umpqua is looking for community-minded individuals to join our Board to make a positive impact in Southern Oregon.
NeighborWorks Umpqua is a community-focused private, rural nonprofit organization working to enhance the lives of Oregon residents in Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson and Josephine Counties. We empower our neighbors in need to pursue opportunities in housing, community development, and financial stability. We’re looking for members who:
- Actively participate in organizational governance.
- Attend board meetings, engage in active discussion, and contribute ideas during meetings with other board members and staff.
- Advocate for NeighborWorks Umpqua’s mission.
- Strengthen community partnerships.
- Possess expertise in real estate, construction, banking, finance, legal expertise, adult education, and social services.
