Help extremely low-income families stay in their rental housing

Why Donate to NeighborWorks Umpqua?

We provide rent relief alongside long-term solution building such as financial and employment coaching.
We provide safe, affordable housing.
Many of our renters have extremely low income. In Oregon, this is defined as those earning less than $25k/year for a family of 4.
Many of our renters are working class and could pay their rent until COVID-19.

A Community Solution: Together, We Will Stabilize Housing

For extremely low-income Oregonians:

More are at risk of losing their rental housing.
There are only 47 rentals available for every 100 families.*
More than 50% of their income goes to rent.*
73% received no Federal housing assistance.*

What We Provide

In response to COVID-19 and the economic impact it has had on our residents, we have set up a Rental Assistance Fund to help alleviate stress in falling behind on their rent that are caused by circumstances beyond their control.

Through the fund, residents may seek financial assistance that would pay half of their rent for up to two months along with free, financial coaching.

With Your Help

We can ensure renters stay in their safe, affordable homes and not have to choose between rent and food.
